Perth Hills National Parks Centre (15th January 2009)

If you are visiting the Perth Hills region of Western Australia, the Perth Hills National Parks Centre is a great place to spend some time. Not only do they have a range of maps, guidebooks and gifts but also run fun activities for kids.

Visit their website www.dec.wa.gov.au/parks-and-recreation/activity-programs/nearer-to-nature/the-perth-hills-visitor-centre.html for more information. You can also call them on 08 9295 2244.

They are located on Allen Road (just off Mundaring Weir Road) next to Mundaring Weir (also a great place to visit).

At the moment they are running school holiday programs for children but they have an extensive range of information on tracks and trails in the Perth Hills area. We encourage you, if you are visiting the region - or live in Perth, to come and take a walk in our natural bush. We think that the natural bush of the Darling Range in Western Australia is very special. Make sure you bring your camera!
