Mundaring Visitor Center (25th January 2009)

The old school house, on Great Eastern Highway in Mundaring, houses the Mundaring visitor centre. A place full of information on the Perth Hills and Mundaring area. If you are up in the Perth hills it's well worth a visit. There are friendly staff to assist you in choosing places to visit and things to see.

The Mundaring and Hills Historical Society Inc. runs the Mundaring District Museum in the same building and holds regular exhibitions.

The Mundaring area has historical significance for the state of Western Australia and includes actractions such as Mundaring Weir, which was built to supply the Kalgoorlie goldfields pipeline, the old railway lines (now beautiful walk tracks and cycle ways), native forests and national parks.
