Perth Photographic Market - 22nd February (16th February 2009)
This is back on February the 22nd at the Leederville town hall (84 Cambridge Street, Leederville).
The photographic market is a great place to grab some 2nd hand bargains. I always try to attend and never come away empty handed!
Sellers can hire a table for $15.00 and are admitted from 7:30am, buyers can get in at 8:30am for the princely sum of $3.00 per person. Phone Bob on 93645905 if you want to book a table. Tea and coffee, as well as nibbles are also on sale.
I find browsing through the many and varied items to not only be very enjoyable, but also educational. There is so much to learn about photography and the photographic market presents a wide range of photographic equipment and material. Over the last few years I have picked up a studio lighting kit, a tripod, a monopod, a panoramic camera, numerous filters and many books and magazines. In particular I find sets of used photographic magazines very worthwhile. The principals of photography don't change and I find browsing through past magazines is just as rewarding as the latest editions from the news agent. The same goes for books, I have quite a library purchased 2nd hand from the Perth photographic market.
I hope to see you there. Get in early at 8:30am as the best bargains are quickly taken.
