By submitting digital images, photographs, images on film or printed art work to Western Landscapes for reproduction purposes, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Copyright Notes and Terms and Conditions listed below on this page and agree to be bound by them as conditions to the provision of services by Western Landscapes.
Copyright Notes
In general, in Australia, copyright protection is free and applies automatically when material is created. There is no specific registration system for copyright in Australia. For more information on Australian copyright you may find it helpful to browse the Australian Copyright Council web site (this link leaves this site).
This means that in Australia, photographs that you take, or works of art that you create, are automatically your copyright.
Western Landscapes repects the rights of all authors and creators of visual images, designs and art works. We expect you to do the same.
Almost all photographs, works of art and graphic designs are copyright to someone. If you are not sure that you hold the copyright for a particular image, then do not send it to us for reproduction. Images downloaded from the Internet or scanned from printed material are all subject to copyright. In general no person or organisation in Australia is exempt from copyright law, including not-for-profit organisations, churches, and private individuals.
You must have copyright or permission from the copyright holder for all images you send to us for reproduction.
Terms and Conditions
1. Western Landscapes will not be liable for any copyright infringements on images provided for reproduction purposes.
2. While all due care will be taken with customers photographic film, photographic prints, works of art, digital images and digital storage devices while they are on Western Landscapes premises, no liability will be accepted for their accidental destruction, loss or damage.
3. While Western Landscapes will take all reasonable care when packing customers material for transporation by a third party, Western Landscapes accepts no liability for any loss or damage to a customers property occuring during transportation.
